Ibanez K5 from 2002 (serial C02063985), first year of production, good condition with some signs of wear and tear, fully functional. With original Ibanez hard case.
The K5 is a five-string solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in 2002. It is the first signature model of American bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, best known for his work with the band Korn.
It was made in South Korea by Cort. After 2005, from the second version, the production moved to Indonesia with less valuable quality materials, the padauk disappeared from the top, the knobs are made of plastic and not metal, the body at one time was made of Nyatoh and no longer mahogany, etc.
This K5 features padauk top and back on an SR-series double cutaway mahogany body bolted to a wenge-walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with K5 logo at the 12th fret. Components include a pair of Ibanez ADX-5 active bass pickups with a Vari-Mid III preamp with three-band EQ, a fixed bridge with 16.5 string spacing.
