Hagstrom Viking II Ultralux Wild Cherry Transparent 2009 Semi Hollow Body Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Hagstrom Ultralux series Viking II semi hollow body electric guitar in Wild Cherry Transparent finish. Built in 2009 this guitar features a Basswood body with a centre block, a bolt on Maple neck, a 22 fret Resinator fingerboard, along with a pair of Hagstrom Custom58 humbuckers, wired to dual volume/tone controls and a 3-way toggle switch.

The gloss finish neck has a fairly shallow profile while still retaining a nice roundness, giving a smooth and easy playing feel. The dual cutaways give great access to the upper register and the semi hollow body construction makes for a lively and responsive instrument, all while keeping feedback under control at stage levels.

The tone of the Custom58 humbuckers is thick and full, with a rich low end, a punchy and driving midrange, along with a crisp and cutting top end, overall voiced slightly brighter than is usual with a humbucker, perfect for cutting through a band and driving the front end of an amplifier.

The instrument presents itself in very good condition. While it shows some signs of previous use, this does not affect playability nor maintenance. The guitar offers smooth playing and a vintage tone. The instrument has only one strap button to the bottom originally from the Manufacturer, however we have included a colourful strap that can be tied to the headstock.
