Gon Bops Alex Acuna Signature Series Cajon

Pictures don’t do this thing justice. It is beautiful. Truly a piece of artwork. It also sounds amazing. The wood is quite thick. The cajon itself is sturdy and feels substantial when you pick it up. I played a lot of them that just felt like cheap toys. This feels like a pro-level instrument. Because it is.

The magic of this drum is that you get a full, clean, deep bass tone striking it in the center without any buzz at all. The crack you get from striking the top is loud and cutting when you need it. You can adjust the sound of the snare tone by adjusting the tension of the faceplate which is a very nice feature.

This drum is quite literally made differently than any other cajon (to Acuna’s specs) and the variation of tone available is unmatched. There are a few very small cosmetic blemishes. But nothing you will see without looking for it and nothing that affects the integrity of the instrument. Comes with gig bag and seat cushion.
