About This Listing

This Godin Nylon String SA synth access guitar was manufactured Thursday, October 28, 1999. It was guitar number 287 made that week.
The parts were made in Canada and was Assembled here in the USA.  Sounds like our 1980's MIJ guitars except the parts were manufactured here and assembled in Japan.  Don't get confused stay focussed.  These Godin's like every thing made in the past are of a better quality.  The new Godin's are imported no longer made in Canada.  I was shocked to here that cause I always boasted of Godin and have there manufacturing facility on my web site under "how guitars are made"  I choose Godin because they showed the how guitar manufacture process from the wood up.  This is a fantastic guitar and I'm afraid the only tube I have is me in the morning trying out the synth for the first time,  trying to do some Larry Norman tunes.  I doubt you would know them unless you were a believer. What I wanted to show other then my uncombed hair was the ease of using the Godin Nylon String.. If your into wanting to learn to finger pick this is an excellent guitar to start on and this 1999 USA/Canada made is an affordable price for the quality and sound you will get. The Back battery door broke and I did a make shift job fixing it.  The battery last like a year and you have to just unscrew the small insert where the battery is to change it, not a hard thing, just a thing.  You can get a new one for 5 bucks. I was going to but hadn't had the time. There are a few marks down by the inputs as you can see, I suppose from missing the hole. That comes absolutely free. Other then that the guitar is in Mint condition and you can feel the quality as well has hear it. But I marked it down to Excellent because it is and excellent instrument and a great guitar to compose with and to use the GR series pedals to create some great sounds.  Also Comes with the then Original Hard Shell case with large compartment, Godin/Canada/USA.  Check the specs below.

The 'Slim' in the moniker refers to the 1.715" neck width at the nut, which is a mere 16th of an inch wider than Godin's standard electric guitar nut width. If you do most of your playing on a guitar with a fairly narrow neck this is the ACS-SA for you. The slim neck of this guitar along with the Ergocut shaping technique and 16" fingerboard radius provide for a very easy transition for steel string guitar players looking to integrate nylon string guitar sounds into their music. Aside from the new neck, the ACS-SA Slim shares all of the same features that have made the ACS-SA an industry standard.  The maple body results in an instrument that is virtually free of feedback, making it easy to use even in loud stage situations.
