2012 Gibson SG Standard P90 with Hardshell Case
See product specs at the bottom
I know everyone might say it, but this guitar has been a real closet queen. I bought it new in 2012 on a whim, and it has been played probably 10 times in 5 years. I'm a strat/tele guy, and it always felt like a stranger in my hands. It has lived in it's case in my closet, taken out a few times a year when I start feeling guilty that I haven't played it. I had it set up with the strings top wrapped over the bridge, which I really like (added sustain and easier bends). This is easily reversible if you want to set it up traditionally. The neck, frets, and fretboard are perfect.
Before I pulled it out to list, I would have considered it like new, but I am pretty picky, so here are a few items of note on the condition:
-A few minor scuffs around the outer edges of the guitar, I think this occurred going in/out of the case, as it is a super tight fit, and literally pops into place. The most noticeable on the top of the upper horn, probably because you are looking down on it when you play (see pic).
-A few light indentation lines on the back of the body, likely my belt meeting the soft mahogany. I could not get these to photograph, no matter how I tried.
- Light pick marking on the pickguard.
- Some marring on the finish of the bridge adjustment screws.
- Case is mint with the exception of a pin sized ding on the top, and some sloppy gluing on the interior.
-Dunlop strap lock posts installed. Will include the Dunlop buttons, as well as the original posts.
-Includes all original paperwork.
Will ship double boxed, with proper packing, fully insured with signature confirmation. Please ask any questions before buying, no returns. Thanks!
