Here for sale is a Fender Stratocaster 1993 in white made in Japan. This guitar is the same model as played by Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, who favoured Japanese Fender Stratocasters which he used throughout his career. They are rare and sought after, especially the left-handed ones which are seldom come by.

This one has a Seymour Duncan Hotrail in white installed in the bridge position, which is the same specification as Kurt's. It also has Gotoh tuning keys installed which Kurt also had installed on some of his Stratocasters. Kurt used quite a few white Stratocasters and this one is based on the famous model he played at the 1992 MTV music awards where the band played the intro to Rape Me to offend the censors before bursting into Lithium. He also played White Japanese Fender Stratocasters from 1990 onwards.
The guitar is in good condition for it's age, it has fantastic build quality as you would expect from Fender Japan. It comes with the original tremolo arm. It has a few dings and scratches the most notable being three small dings on the front of the body, and some scratches on the back of the lower horn. This all adds to the guitar's mojo and gives it more rock 'n' roll character. Overall it is in great shape, with a lovely C shape Rosewood neck. The pick ups have a great sound, and the hotrail in the bridge gives it a great edge and rock power. the approximate measurements are as follows: The width of the nut is 42.00mm / 1.6535", the depth of the neck at the first fret is 21.60mm / 0.8505" and 23.87mm / 0.9395" at the 12th fret. It has a C shape neck contour with a 7.25" fretboard radius. The frets are 2.01mm / 0.0795" wide and 1.09 / 0.043" deep. The guitar weighs approx 3.710KG and is very comfortable to play and hold. You can see why Kurt opted for these Stratocaster's as they are timeless and extremely versatile. This guitar comes with a Fender gig bag.
