  Up for grabs is this NEW MODEL PMR wide range/full range driver......

It seems that the recent trends in speaker building these days is to use a single point source , small full range driver in a compact enclosure for desk top applications as PC speakers and playback monitors.

 By using this littler 4" driver, it is now "do-able" and get an actual 50-20KHz response from a small compact enclosure..

  BUT, these make cool open baffle and automotive speakers as well....

   These are assembled here at PMR in Ohio, by hand, built from components of a famous make speaker, that costs several times more when purchased elsewhere.  If they look like a "T","D",  or a "L" model, well, you just might be right.

 These are acoustically astounding sounding full range drivers for the money.

 With a rather large magnetic structure, they have a lot of detail and control on the moving mass, and you can get away with more than just 2 enclosure types with these..  

.....Horn designs of various types are a reality with these, or as dedicated midrange drivers in larger 3 way systems, or  as a "top" with a dedicated subwoofer in a 1.1/ 2.1 way with dedicated tweeter..

....Use your imagination with these, by using different crossover points, and drivers you may already have, you can come up with some high performance designs..
