Figured Maple cutaway single cone Reso Rocket with easy access to the nether regions of the 17th fret and above. Tricone-style grille soundports, Antique Brass UFO-style coverplate. Ivoroid-bound Ebony fingerboard with diamond-shaped inlays and heelcap, on a Figured Maple neck. Peghead (solid) headstock with Ivoroid Overlay with engraved National logo.  

The openness of the grille ports combined with a single cone Maple bodied guitar makes this a powerful sounding National, with super, warm and bright, punchy, penetrating but sweet tone, with a huge dynamic range. Wonderful instrument that really cuts through when you need it to. Love it!
