This listing is for a 1962 Gibson Les Paul Standard SG. This guitar is being sold as pictured with most of the parts removed. This guitar was made by Gibson in 1962 and got factory re-necked in the late 1960's. The nut width is 1 & 9/16ths and the guitar has a larger Gibson serial number you sometimes see on factory renecks. The guitar has the original cherry finish and looks great. The are no neck or heel repairs. The truss rod is fully functional and turns in both directions and the frets are original and neck binding intact. The only parts included are the bridge posts and strap buttons. The guitar originally had the sideways-sidepull vibrato and you can see the outline from the tremolo on the body. The guitar has some light wear including finish checking and nicks, dings and scratches but overall the guitar is in good cosmetic condition. This guitar is a great project for someone looking to restore a Vintage Gibson Les Paul Standard or make themselves a customized vintage guitar. The guitar comes with hard shell case and will be expertly packed for safe shipping. The case is just a fairly new black SG case and isn't original but will protect the guitar in shipping. I am happy to ship internationally but will not falsify customs documents.

Thanks for looking,,,
