About This Listing

Pre-Owned Guild USA Special Run F-30 Orchestra sized acoustic in Blonde finish. Limited to only twenty pieces worldwide in 2011. Complete with Guild Hard case.

Guild introduced the F-30 Aragon, the smallest of it's original flat-top guitars, in 1954. Early versions featured a unique orchestra body shape with a spruce top and maple back and sides; it had acquired a mahogany back and sides by 1959, as found on more recent Traditional Series versions of this model.

This very limited run version exclusively custom made in the New Hartford USA factory during 2011 as one of only 20 pieces worldwide harkens back to the early days of the F-30 by returning to maple for the back and sides - beautiful highly figured AAAAA-grade maple in this case. With that and a select premium Adirondack red spruce top, this is a beautiful guitar with a strong, clear voice.

Other special features include an ebony fingerboard and bridge, tortoise body binding, ebony head-cap with Mother-of-Pearl "Vintage G" logo, 12th fret abalone "G" inlay, custom gold Gotoh open back tuners with white "G-Shield" buttons, 1.75" bone nut saddle, "Parisian eye" bone bridge pins and a Nitro-Lacquer finish.

Complete with original Guild Deluxe hard case and high quality Guild Glove leather strap. Fitted with a high quality LR Baggs Anthem SL discreet active pickup system.

Condition: Excellent. Critically, very minor indentations and light marks to the top otherwise very clean with no fret wear.
