This is a 2004 Alveraz F-Style mandolin I bought brand new that year. It is a real easy player and by far I have logged more hours on it than any mandolin I have ever owned, and yet it still looks brand new. It plays better and easier than the Gibson Mandolin that I have and sound better. This is their bells and whistle version with a lot of inlay on the peg head and fret board, binding all around, glossy finish which causes it to clean up like brand new. I e-mailed Alveraz and they told me the mandolins from2002 to 2005 were all built in korea under strict guidelines and that at this time they have no plans to build any more since the mandolin market is not that good, so 2005 is the last Alveraz mandolin you will find. The case is a TKL that is made for F-Style mandolins and I bought it with the mandolin for additional $125, and it is included in the sale. I presently have Dogal strings on it which I will leave on and they are made in Italy and last a long time and never seem to go flat. Thanks for looking and God Bless, Bob
