Korg Stage Echo SE300 (Alternative to Roland RE-201 Space Echo)

For your consideration is a 1970's Korg Stage Echo SE300. This is Korg's answer to the Roland RE201 Space Echo. This tape echo is in very good condition. The exterior tolex has some minor blemishes, but the unit is otherwise 100% functional. 

The Korg SE300 has push-button selectable tape heads which can be engaged in any combination and an onboard spring reverb tank.

The reverb tank has been upgraded to the same specs as one found in an RE201. The tank adds a bit more decay than the one that originally came with it. 

This unit has been cleaned up by me. Tape heads have been cleaned with 99% anhydrous alcohol and demagnetized. The tape loop has been replaced with a brand new loop which I've spliced from some new old stock lubricated broadcast tape (the only kind you should use on any tape echo).  The unit has been biased to accept this kind of tape and as you can hear in the youtube video, it goes into self-oscillation nicely.
(For those curious, a '66 Fender Mustang and Roland Cube were used in the demo)
