Up for sale is this complete
set of tuners from the rare and pricey Fender Gold Elite. Made in
W. Germany by Schaller, these exceeding rare, original tuners are
the perfect parts for your Fender USA Gold Elite restoration. Be wary of other sellers online
who (perhaps unknowingly) are offering tuners from the Japanese
Elite (a TOTALLY different guitar!), or the newer, reissue version
tuners (which are not as high quality as these originals,
and will NOT match your existing gold hardware!). Mine are the
correct, original, and genuine Fender Fullerton, CA tuners for the
1983 and 1984 USA Gold Elite.
Condition:
Excellent.
The pictures are of the actual item, not a
stock picture. There is not much wear to speak
of on this clean set of tuners. The only real
flaw I could find was a shallow scratch on one
of the tuner's pearl plastic pegs. It doesn't
affect the operation of the tuner. All of the
tuners work as well as new, with a very smooth
action. This 6-tuner set is for right-handed
instruments.
Installation:
Easy! The Elite necks (and most other modern USA Fenders) are
pre-drilled with 10mm holes for these tuners. Just tighten them a
little with a 10mm socket, no screws or drilling needed!
