"When sounds are sampled and presented in this quality and at this level of playability they become an inspiration in themselves. As a set of writing tools these instruments can take you out of your normal musical sphere and suggest new musical worlds to inhabit."

What happens if I lose my data or the hard drive crashes?
Complete Composers Collection 2 is supplied on a Western Digital 1TB USB3 (with USB2 compatibility) external hard drive (see system requirements). The supplied hard drive is subject to change without notice and may be supplied in black or silver based on availability. The hard drive comes with a Western Digital 1 year warranty. In the event a replacement drive becomes necessary we will replace the data at any time.
What are the system requirements for the supplied external hard drive?
To obtain satisfactory performance from the supplied hard drive a USB 3 compatible computer is required. If your computer does not have a USB 3 connection, you can use the USB 2 connection supplied with the hard drive to copy the data to another (non energy saving) internal hard drive of at least 7200rpm; or external hard drive of at least 7200rpm that has a Firewire 800 (not 400) connection or faster, and use the supplied hard drive for backup. USB 2 is too slow to stream ultra detailed virtual instruments, resulting in poor performance (pops/clicks/dropouts etc.). Computer powered external hard drives should be ejected prior to shutting down your computer to avoid damage to your data or the hard drive.
This is my first EastWest purchase, where can I purchase the iLok security key?
Right here, and if you are a new customer you will receive a 50% discount! Add iLok2 to your cart at the bottom of the selection list and login to receive the 50% discount. One of the major benefits of iLok is portability. The iLok security key provides access to the entire collection, so you can plug in the USB3 hard drive and iLok key into any computer in any location for convenience.
Complete Composers Collection 2 Pro
Complete Composers Collection 2 Pro is also available, which includes the flagship Diamond Editions of the Hollywood Series, and Platinum Editions of Symphonic Orchestra and Pianos, adding the versatility of multiple microphone positions.

INSTALLATION and SETUP GUIDE
The Hard Drive Supplied and System Requirements
IMPORTANT: Complete Composers Collection 2 comes on a Western Digital 1TB USB 3 (with USB 2 compatibility) external hard drive (see system requirements). The supplied hard drive is subject to change without notice and may be supplied in black or silver based on availability. To obtain satisfactory performance from the supplied hard drive a USB 3 compatible computer is required. If your computer does not have a USB 3 connection, you can use the USB 2 connection supplied with the hard drive to copy the data to another (non energy saving) internal hard drive of at least 7200rpm, or external drive of at least 7200rpm that has a Firewire 800 (not 400) connection or preferably faster, and use the supplied hard drive for backup. USB 2 is too slow to stream these ultra detailed virtual instruments, and may result in poor performance (pops/clicks/dropouts etc.).
IMPORTANT: When shutting down your computer, eject the external hard drive first or you could lose data and/or damage the hard drive.
Please check the required specifications for the Virtual Instruments selected to ensure compatibility and optimum performance.
