The first MIDI-equipped, sample-based drum machine from the 80s, the Drumtraks features 11 drum sounds, all with programmable tuning and level control. As a part of a larger product line, including the Sequential Circuits Prophet-5, Drumtraks didn’t ascend to nearly the fame of it’s Oberheim, Linn Electronics, and Roland counterparts.
