1952 Supro Ozark short scale electric guitar by Valco. Has Valco lapsteel string-through pickup that is super desirable for blues slide. Sounds great played through a tube amp (or my vintage Pignose). Is in very good condition for an all original 64-year-old guitar with some play wear. Has a small bubble in the white finish on the body on the side where the neck joins the body and a small chip at the waste on the backside. The Supro Ozark lapsteel model was Jimi Hendrix's first electric that was stolen in the 50s. Given the whereabouts of that guitar is unknown, there is a small chance this was played by the legend himself ;- ) The frets are good, electrics great. Has original black bakelite volume and tone knobs (many have white knobs, but these look period). Tuners work great. Plays and sounds awesome!
If you play slide blues, this is the one. Comes with original chipboard two-tone white and gray case with operational locks and handle.
