Thinline Telecaster body router templates. This set includes everything you need to produce a thinline Tele guitar body. Templates are 1/2" thick MDF produced via CNC machine. These templates were produced by 3D modeling an actual guitar and not from plans found on the internet. In fact, for these thinline templates, we X-Rayed an actual guitar to make sure that the internal cavities were correct. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship and attention to detail. All of the routing done on the top of the guitar body is purposely laid out on one template. This way you know that you are getting the neck pocket perfectly in line with the pickups and bridge mounting holes. We don't sell templates that we have not modeled and built ourselves. Our neck pockets fit standard Fender and aftermarket necks perfectly with a nice tight fit... which is exactly what you want for optimal vibration and tone transfer to the body of your finished guitar! Our templates include center lines and wire channel locations on the body templates.

Note: Fender Thinline guitar cavities are routed from the rear. If you look closely at vintage thinlines, you can see the line where the back is glued on after the internal routing is done. It's also obvious when you look inside, through the F-Hole, to see glue squeeze out around the inside of the guitar.
