The Evans 14" Genera HD snare drum head is designed for players who demand a focused, dry snare sound with excellent articulation and control. Featuring a two-ply construction—a 7.5mil inner ply and a 5mil outer ply—this head offers enhanced durability and a powerful, aggressive attack ideal for louder playing environments.

A 2mil overtone control ring is affixed to the underside, reducing unwanted ringing while maintaining clarity and presence. This makes it a perfect choice for both studio recording and live performance, especially in settings where tight, clean snare response is essential. The Genera HD also includes Evans’ Level 360 technology, which ensures consistent contact with the drum shell for easier tuning and better tonal balance.
