At 55 years old, this left-handed Gibson Les Paul Custom has likely seen its fair share of bar gigs and has surely witnessed a wide variety of unmentionable human behaviour. It’s been around and has the kind of wrinkles that the Rock & Roll lifestyle tends to impart. It still plays the way it should and sounds every bit as creamy as you think it does and, despite a few good dings and some seriously beautiful playwear, it’s remained in pretty good shape, all told.

Original finish throughout, with lots of wear along the body edges, neck, backside and headstock. The bindings have become quite darkly tinted from time and smokey rooms (the instrument no longer smells of cigarette smoke, though), and there is an extra strap-button hole on the back of the body. The pickups, bridge and tailpiece are original; however, the pots and control knobs have been changed along with the jack and jack plate. Tuners are period correct 'waffle back' gold tuners. Case is also period correct, and is very good shape.

I've owned this guitar for 5 years, and have taken very good care of it- it has been used in the studio, but otherwise has scarcely outside the house. The first two pictures were taken by the shop I purchased it from- to illustrate how well I took care of the guitar.

New Murphy Lab Gibson guitars are this price, and won't likely increase in value- here is a chance to own a rare lefty vintage guitar that will become more valuable over the years... I'll likely regret selling this one.

As this is guitar was made in the USA, there are no additional tariffs etc in shipping it to the USA.

Please reach out for an accurate shipping quote- and kindly note that no shipper offers enough insurance that would cover the value of this instrument; so rest assured, I will pack it with the utmost of care.
