The award-winning HT range is one of Blackstar’s core series of valve amplifiers. Its goal—to provide guitarists with classic valve tones in a compact package—has made it a staple in the homes and studios of both professional and aspiring musicians. Our world-class R&D team has drawn upon decades of knowledge and experience to create the new HT MK III series. The HT-1R MK III, HT-5R MK III, and HT-20R MK III amplifiers retain all the renowned features of the HT MkII series, now enhanced with the addition of CabRig—our world-class, IR-based DSP speaker simulator. CabRig gives guitarists access to hundreds of different cabinet, microphone, mic-placement, and room settings. These configurations can be saved into three onboard presets, which can be recalled directly from the amplifier, offering an incredible range of tonal options for live performance or recording. Alongside these cutting-edge features, the new HT MK III series boasts a striking new aesthetic, inspired by high-end boutique amplifiers. The control panel features a clean, sharp look, with a cornerless cabinet design, classic "chicken-head" knobs, and a new-style fret (grille cloth). We have also incorporated high-quality mini-toggle switches, updated LED colors, and added a metal-plate logo. Without a doubt, the HT MK III sounds every bit as good as it looks.
