Up for sale is a Pigtronix Philosopher’s Rock optical compressor and sustainer pedal. This is a 100% analog, ultra-low-noise compressor that gives you endless clean sustain without adding hiss to your signal chain. It is a streamlined version of the famous Philosopher’s Tone, packing massive headroom into a much smaller, pedalboard-friendly footprint.Key Features:
- Optical Compression: Huge dynamic range controlled by a simple two-knob layout (Volume & Sustain).
- Germanium Grit Switch: A mini-toggle that engages a warm, harmonically rich overdrive that sounds incredible for classic rock/blues leads.
- True Bypass: Completely transparent when turned off.
- 18V Power: Runs on standard 9V, but sings with massive headroom when powered by 18V.
