1970s Electra MPC 12 Compressor Module Modular Powered Circuit SUPER RARE!

The Electra MPC-12 Compressor Module is an ultra-rare onboard effects cartridge designed for Electra MPC (Modular Powered Circuits) guitars. Originally produced in Japan around 1980, the MPC-12 is highly coveted by collectors and is widely considered the rarest and most difficult to find module in the entire 12-module Electra MPC lineup.

Very Good condition, tested and ready for use

• Onboard Adjustments: The module features a built-in toggle switch offering two distinct compression behaviors.
• Position 1 (Sustain Boost): This setting allows sustained notes to remain highly prominent, keeping them as loud as—or even louder than—the initial note attack.
• Position 2 (Attack Squash): This setting heavily softens the initial pick attack, producing a very noticeable, classic compression "squash" while preserving a long decay trail.
• Guitar Interaction: Once clicked into the guitar, the instrument's face toggles activate the effect, and the corresponding rotary control knob functions primarily as a level/volume control rather than altering the parameters of the compression threshold or ratio
