The Akai ME80P is a classic 1U rack-mountable programmable MIDI patchbay featuring 8 MIDI inputs and 10 MIDI outputs.

Released in the late 1980s to early 1990s, it lets you flexibly route any MIDI input to any MIDI output, save patching programs across 128 battery-backed memory banks, and merge two MIDI inputs. It also includes a real-time MIDI patch monitor and filtering capabilities to block unnecessary data.
