Rare unit. Working good. Could use some more cleaning.
Blankenship Fatboy 1 x 12" Tweed Combo
Lightweight too at just 32 lbs despite the added wattage. it's a fantastic speaker cab to use with other amps at its size and low weight, and the Celestion G12H Anniversary speaker is super versatile and articulate).
From Roy himself: "Roy Blankenship calling. That amp is the Fatboy, there is no "Supreme" mod on that one, though it could be the 30 watt version. If the power transformer is an FDP-20X, then it is the 30 watt version rather than 22 watts. The speaker is the blue Alnico Celestion rather than G12H30 that usually comes in those.
Specs:
- Normal and Bright channels with common tone control
- Carbon composition resistors
- Mallory capacitors, these caps really nail the tone of the original Astrons
- F&T electrolytics
- Weight: 32 lbs
