Altec 1650 1970 - Green

I am selling this Altec 1650 EQ which has been serviced, thoroughly cleaned and recapped. Although these come up for sale - they are never ready to use and generally do not come with the altec transformer which makes a huge difference. It uses vintage inductors and minimal voltage to do its magic. I purchased the EQ for bass and guitar and soon realized it works on vocals. When you set this up it's super clean and yet adds vibe exactly like you would want out of a Pultec but at a fraction of the cost. A few great rock producers have this in their rack. I am happy to keep it but since I am running a studio not many people know about this so they end u[p coming for the Pultecs. $500 OBO
