This is a SERIOUSLY RESPONSIVE crash with the Dark, Complex and musical character that makes the older K/IAK cymbals so desirable. At just 1217g, it OPENS UP EFFORTLESSLY with a Quick, Explosive response and a Beautifully soft, Dark Decay.
The cymbal has plenty of Warmth, Complexity and character, with a slightly TRASHY/ORGANIC edge that gives it a very DISTINCTIVE VOICE. It responds Beautifully to lighter playing but can also open up into a Full, Rich crash when pushed.
The 17” size and ULTRA THIN 1217g weight make this a particularly versatile crash equally at home in jazz, blues, funk, soul, alternative, and studio work.
