Another quality Guitar from Lovies Guitars!

Lovies Guitars is excited to present this Vintage! 1936 Gibson Super 400 Hollow-Body Archtop Electric Guitar finished in Sunburst. The Super 400 is one of Gibson's most iconic and historically significant archtop designs, introduced in the 1930s as the company's flagship acoustic archtop. With its large body, elegant appointments, and incredible presence, the Super 400 has become one of the most desirable vintage Gibson instruments.

This early example has the unmistakable look and character of a guitar that has been played and enjoyed for nearly 90 years. The large hollow-body archtop construction delivers the warm, resonant acoustic character these instruments are known for, while the vintage appointments and imposing size make this a truly special piece of Gibson history.

The Sunburst finish features beautiful natural checking throughout, along with wear consistent with its age. A 3-inch crack on the lower side has been professionally repaired. The neck shows good playing wear, and the guitar has been refretted. Despite its age and repair history, this Super 400 plays well and remains in good overall condition for a nearly 90-year-old instrument. It comes with an Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).

Condition: 9/10 - Very Good. Nice overall finish checking with wear consistent with its age. A 3-inch crack on the lower side has been repaired. Good neck wear and a professional refret. Plays well and is in good overall condition for its age.
