L.Luthier is an up-and-coming Asian guitar brand founded in 2009 in Malaysia by Adwin Lai. Adwin began playing guitar and composing in his teens, majored in guitar and vocal music at university, and has released singles, demonstrating his musical knowledge. This instrument is one of their many tenor ukulele lineups, the "Rose EQ," a tenor ukulele equipped with a unique pickup system. It features a European spruce top, Indian rosewood sides and back, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, rosewood bridge, open gold geared tuners, a gently rounded Venetian cutaway, red-colored woodline trim, figured maple binding, and an original pickup system. This model has an impressive design reminiscent of an origami crane. Inlays are applied around the soundhole and on the fingerboard, giving it an organic rather than inorganic look.
