CORT Stellar S2550 Honey / Made In Korea / From 1997

Cort Stellar S2550 – Made in Korea – 1997

Very cool and relatively uncommon Cort Stellar S2550, made in Korea in 1997.

Based on serial number 7106236, the guitar dates very likely to 1997, most likely October according to Cort’s older serial-number format.

The S2550 is a distinctive Korean-made model with a comfortable, ergonomic body shape, fast neck, and excellent upper-fret access. It offers a nice balance between a traditional Strat-style feel and a more modern, performance-oriented design.

It features a maple body, hard rock maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, and a 25.5" scale length. The HSS pickup configuration makes it very versatile, covering everything from clear single-coil tones to thicker and more powerful humbucker sounds.

The bridge humbucker also features coil splitting, adding even more tonal options.

The guitar is equipped with a Wilkinson tremolo system and a roller nut, a very practical combination for smooth tremolo use and improved tuning stability.

The two control knobs have been replaced. One original knob will be included with the guitar in the shipment. Please also note that the original whammy/tremolo bar is missing.
