This is a pre-owned Harley Benton Extreme Metal, a distortion pedal from Harley Benton's TrueTone series. The pedal is built for heavy, high-gain metal tones and combines drive and level controls with a separate boost function and a 3-band EQ for further tone shaping.
In practice, you'd use the Extreme Metal for an aggressive, heavily compressed distortion with plenty of gain. The separate boost footswitch lets you add extra push during a solo or accent without changing your basic settings, and the EQ lets you dial in the tone to match your guitar and amp.
