Scott Walker The Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruz model from Luthier Scott Walker is considered his most versital model primarily due to the comfortable body to weight ratio giving the guitar a balanced foundation. Not to mention, the carve of the rosewood neck, the spot on innotation, the Brazilian Rosewood fretboard and headstock along with the .104" x .047" Jescar frests combine to eluminate the hollow body that translates into an effortlessly playable guitar that exhibits a haunting yet clear resinant tone that is seldom present in an electric guitar. Plus you have the all hand made electronics to play with. Those who follow Scott's work know that he makes almost all the parts and electronics that go into making these works of functioning art. At every inspection, I am in amazed at every little detail and Scott's flawless craftsmanship. In my opinion, this guitar is the pinnacle of what a Scott Walker Santa Cruz Model offers.

Unfortunately, I do not have a hard shell case for this. It comes in a very nice Mono soft shelled case, and it will be packed in the same box that Scott sent it in. I am a collector of fine luthier-built instruments, and while I am definitely a fan of Walker guitars, I'm not really an electric guy. So the time has come to offer this wonderful (rarely played) Walker Santa Cruz to some other lucky soul for it to be it's next steward and to be cherished for years to come.
