1960s Ludwig No. 88 Hi-Hat Sock Jingle Tambourine

For your kind consideration is this vintage Ludwig No. 88 tambourine from the 1960s. This Hi-Hat Sock Jingle is designed to provide the Rock and Roll drummer with added "Big Beat" coloring of the popular tambourine jingle effects. The solid rock maple tambourine shell, with 8 double jingles, is easily mounted on any standard hi-hat. A metal plate across the tambourine keeps the instrument in place. It is equally effective with after-beat hi-hat or sticks. Sturdy construction, made for long-lasting performance. Overall in very good condition, showing signs of typical use and some factory wood putty at the scarf joint which is common. It still has the original Drums Unlimited sticker, a legendary Chicago drum shop from yesteryear. Enjoy!
