Taylor Builder’s Edition 652ce WHB 12-String Acoustic-Electric

This is a fantastic Taylor Builder’s Edition 652ce 12-string in the beautiful WHB finish. I purchased it new and have personally played it only twice. It has otherwise spent nearly all its time protected inside its original Taylor deluxe hardshell case.

The guitar was recently professionally inspected and set up by a Silver-level Taylor technician at Stang Guitars.

I am selling it simply because I have not been able to devote the time required to adapting my playing to this particular 12-string and its unique reverse-course string arrangement. An instrument of this quality deserves to be played and enjoyed rather than sitting unused in its case.

The guitar produces the clear, shimmering detail and excellent note separation expected from a premium Taylor 12-string. I especially recommend hearing it through a quality acoustic amplifier. Taylor’s ES2 electronics bring out an impressive level of fullness, richness, sustain and beautifully defined lower notes.

The factory reverse-strung arrangement positions the heavier fundamental string first in each course. This produces a warmer and fuller response on downstrokes while retaining the bright octave shimmer of a traditional 12-string.
