Assonance is a one of a kind handcrafted cherry wood cajón, redesigned as an ergonomic hybrid stool. Unlike a traditional cajón, the seat and stool style legs let the player sit naturally at a comfortable height and angle, improving posture and playing comfort during longer sessions, while still delivering a full, resonant cajón sound. Includes an adjustable drum snare.

Hand built and finished in Montreal, this piece was awarded the Prix Coup de cœur du public 2026 by the École d'ébénisterie d'art de Montréal (EEAM), voted by public ballot as the community's favorite piece of the year.
Materials: solid cherry wood, hand finished with tung oil.
