Korg M1 for sale! Great international shipping price & in great condition!The Korg M1 is a synth that doesn't need much of an introduction. It's been a staple in everyone from Brian Eno's to Klaus Schulze's to Mike Oldfield's synth inventories.The story with this synth is that I bought it from a friend that runs a studio that had too little space, so he needed to free some pretty cool stuff. Because of that it's been stored in a great condition for the vast majority of its life. Frankly, the only reason I'm selling this is that I need the money at the moment. As with this and most of my other synths I wouldn't be selling it otherwise.ConditionI would say that the condition of this synth is very good considering it is 38 years old now! The only consideration is purely aesthetic, as you can see in the images some flecks of the paint have come off, and it's only really visible under a very bright light source. There is a very faint scratch next to the joystick and a more noticeable one on the back where the midi ports are (so you won't ever see it, really.)Servicing & repairsI've listed this before doing any services or repairs, honestly It doesn't really need them besides a new screen and a new internal battery which are QOL and not essential. The reason I've listed it before repairs is that I'm so backlogged with synth stuff I haven't gotten around to it - also, strapped for cash lol. Therefore, if you are interested in buying this synth I can make it my priority and:- Replace the screen (already have one on hand, high quality backlit LED)- Replace the internal battery- If you want a museum quality statement piece I can recap the power supply as wellI will charge a flat amount for all of this, which will be $100 (for screen + battery) up to $200 (for the power supply). I will take photos and send them to you afterwards before payment. That's a really great deal. I know its unconventional to list it before doing servicing, but this is a hasty sale.ShippingFirst of all, a disclaimer: the lead time for me shipping this to you will be 3 days up to a week if you choose not to get it serviced. If you choose to get it serviced the lead time will be 5 days to a week and a half.Ok so here's the deal with shipping these overseas: they're really damn heavy! > 15kg.
