Late 60's IBANEZ BASS Mod.2030 Sunburst 2 Pickups Made in Japan Code Ba73Maple neck with a “C” profile, 1 5/8” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 10” radius, and block inlays. Original hardware, original pickups, three-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls. There are some dings and play wear throughout the top but the vibe is very fitting for this instrument. The sides have some chips and edge wear and the back is looking good with similar wear. The neck is straight with very good frets. This Ibanez is ready to rumble! The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board. Comes in period hard case. Weight: 7lbs 1ozThe 2030 is a solid body short scale electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1971. It was produced in Japan. It's visually similar to Fender's bass model. The 2030 features a double-cutaway selected hardwood body bolted to a laminated mahogany neck with a 21-fret ovalled rosewood fingerboard with oblong pearloid block position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Maxon mini humbucker pickup's with individually adjustable polepieces, a black polished pickguard, a bone nut, an ashtray bridge style, chrome plated individual machines heads. Some models have white blocks as fingerboard inlays.
