About this listing
Godin Multiac Grand Concert Encore Natural SG – Made in CanadaCondition: Excellent. The guitar is absolutely new and unplayed, with no signs of use. It has been carefully stored since purchase. The Godin Multiac Grand Concert Encore is a professional nylon-string hybrid designed for players who want a more traditional classical feel combined with the stage-friendly practicality of Godin’s Multiac platform.Made in Canada, the Grand Concert Encore features a two-chambered Canadian Laurentian Basswood body with a solid cedar top, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard.Compared with the standard Multiac models, the Grand Concert version uses a wider 2" / 50.8 mm nut and a neck that joins the body at the 12th fret, giving it a feel much closer to a traditional classical guitar. The 24" fingerboard radius is also considerably flatter than on most electric or steel-string guitars, reinforcing the classical-style playing experience while retaining the slim, comfortable Multiac body. One of the key strengths of the Grand Concert Encore is its Custom Godin Dual Source electronics. The system combines an undersaddle transducer with two body sensors, allowing the amplified sound to retain more of the natural response and resonance of a nylon-string instrument. The onboard preamp provides direct control over volume, EQ and source blend, making the guitar easy to adapt for live performance or recording. The chambered body construction also provides excellent resistance to feedback compared with a conventional acoustic classical guitar, making the Multiac particularly well suited to amplified stage use.SpecificationsModel: Godin Multiac Grand Concert Encore Natural SGSKU: 041756Made in CanadaRight-Handed6-String NylonBody: Two-Chambered Canadian Laurentian BasswoodTop: Solid CedarNeck: MahoganyFingerboard: RosewoodFingerboard Radius: 24" / 609.6 mmScale Length: 25.66" / 651.8 mmNut Width: 2" / 50.8 mmNut: GraphtechFrets: 19Bridge: RosewoodMachine Head Ratio: 16:1Electronics: Custom Godin Dual Source SystemPickup System: 2 Body Sensors + Undersaddle Bridge TransducerControls: On-Board PreampFinish: Natural Semi GlossFactory Strings: HTC NylonIncludes: Original Godin Multiac & A-Series Gig BagThe Multiac Grand Concert Encore is an excellent choice for classical and nylon-string players who need a reliable amplified instrument without sacrificing the wider neck and familiar feel of a traditional classical guitar. Its combination of solid cedar, chambered construction and dual-source electronics makes it especially well suited to live performance, studio work and amplified ensemble playing.
