Built by the Gibson Custom Shop, this '59 Historic ES-335 recreates the look, feel, and tone of one of Gibson's most iconic semi-hollow designs while offering the premium craftsmanship and attention to detail associated with the Historic series.
The ES-335's semi-hollow Maple construction and center block deliver an ideal combination of resonance, sustain, and feedback resistance. Paired with Gibson's vintage-inspired humbuckers, this 1959 Historic delivers rich, articulate cleans, singing overdrive, and the unmistakable woody character that has made the ES-335 a studio and stage favorite for generations.
The Sunburst finish, vintage-inspired appointments, and VOS treatment give this example an unmistakably classic appearance. The subtle VOS aging on the hardware adds just the right amount of vintage character while preserving the clean, collector-friendly presentation of the instrument.
This guitar is all original (OG) and comes complete with its Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 9.8/10 - Excellent. Minty overall with typical light play wear and pickguard scratches. The hardware features VOS aging from the factory. No dings or repairs. Super clean example.
