Universal Audio has released its new desktop audio interface, the Arrow Thunderbolt 3, for an expected street price of $499 USD. This makes it the cheapest point of entry into Universal Audio's leading library of UAD powered plugins, which is only accessible to those who own a piece of Universal Audio's hardware.
Modeled after the Apollo Twin, the Arrow Thunderbolt 3 features an onboard UAD-2 SOLO Core processor (derived from UA’s award-winning Apollo line) that lets users record through the substantial library of UAD Powered Plugins (100+ titles, with more added each month) at near-zero latency.
It also features two Unison mic preamps and UAD studio mixing tools, like classic compressors, EQs, and reverbs. The Arrow can even be expanded with exclusive titles from Neve, SSL, Fender, and Ampeg and works with both Windows and Mac operating systems.
