EarthQuaker Devices & Lottery League Team Up On Limited Edition Avalanche Run

EarthQuaker Devices and Lottery League—two Ohio-based institutions in the music world—have teamed up on a limited-edition version of EQD's ever-popular Avalanche Run V2 stereo reverb and delay effect.

This special edition pedal feature a chassis adorned with exclusive artwork by Cleveland-based artist Clay Parker, who has worked extensively in the music scene on album art, gig posters, and more. The proceeds from this pedal will go to support the 2024 Lottery League season.

For those unfamiliar, Lottery League is a Cleveland-based project that first started in 2007 with a goal that pretty closely resembles ours here at Reverb—making the world more musical.

Lottery League x EarthQuaker Devices Avalanche Run V2

Each season, Lottery League brings together over 160 musicians of all different genres, ages, and instruments from the Cleveland and Akron areas and randomly sorts them into four-piece bands. The one rule is that none of the musicians can have collaborated together before.

These newly formed bands are then given two months to build and rehearse a 10-minute original set, which they will then perform live across three stages in front of thousands of fans at THE BIG SHOW—"a free festival that's truly unlike anything else," as EQD calls it in the listing.

Since 2008, over 200 Lottery League bands have been created with over 500 individual musicians having participated in the show. It's a super special tradition definitely worth supporting. If you'd like to show yours (and get a sweet special edition pedal in the process), head over to the EQD Reverb Store to preorder now.
