Up for sale is a wicked 1973 Gibson Limited Edition '54 Les Paul Custom in its original ebony finish. This is easily one of my personal favorite models from Norlin era Gibson and this particular one has some unique mods that give it more of a '57 vibe than a '54 vibe. As you can see the original P90 and staple pickup routes have been enlarged to accommodate full sized humbuckers. The guitar is currently sporting a Patent Sticker humbucker and a T Top. The guitar also also seen a number of other mods including a pro refret and replaced strap buttons. The guitar had different tuners on it at one point and now has a period correct set of waffle backs installed. The pots and harness are correct with visible pot codes dating to 1973. This is a fun and cool vintage Les Paul!
