Personal Thoughts:
This is a seriously special Horizon and a striking example of the craftsmanship found at the top of ESP’s Japanese Original Series. The Sugilite edition pairs a deep Violet Pearl Black finish with gold hardware, white binding and intricate double-stripe inlays, creating a luxurious look that still feels unmistakably modern and aggressive. The colour has loads of depth under changing light, giving the guitar a much more distinctive presence than a conventional solid finish.

The set-thru construction, three-piece hard maple neck and ebony fingerboard provide the fast, solid feel expected from a high-end Horizon, while the Thin U profile and extra-jumbo stainless-steel frets make it ideally suited to precise, technical playing. The EMG JH Set delivers a powerful but unusually articulate active voice, with tight low-end response, strong mids and excellent definition under heavy gain. Gotoh locking tuners and the fixed locking bridge arrangement complete a stable, dependable specification built equally well for the stage or studio. A rare and visually exceptional Japanese ESP with genuine collector appeal.
