A gorgeous Martin for the serious tone hound!
Perhaps the definitive dreadnought, the D-28 has found its way onto an insurmountable amount of records over the years. This particular example, dating to 2018, is from the 'Re-Imagined Series'. Composed of a solid spruce top with east Indian rosewood back and sides, this example delivers an exceptional bass response with an articulate mid range voice. Unique to these 're-imagined' models is forward-shifted, non-scalloped x-bracing, open-gear tuners, as well as a 1 3/4" nut width. The neck profile is a modified low oval with 'high-performance' taper, which feels exceptional in hand. A beautiful example that represents the best of what modern Martin is capable of building!
Cosmetic condition is excellent, with exceptionally little play wear present throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes the original hardcase.
