1968 Ludwig Keystone in the absolutely stunning Red Psychedelic finish! This is a Hollywood configuration. 14x22” 16x16” 8x12” and 9x13” all original matching kit! The Red psychedelic finish came out in 1968 and was only produced for a year and a half with keystone badges! Ludwig then switched to the blue and green label in late 1969. These drums are in very nice shape, there are some marks, and scratches throughout but overall a really nice example still. All white original interiors, all very clean! In the early life of the kit it was played as a 3 piece so the smaller rack tom is faded a bit less in comparison to the rest of the set. At one point later likely in the 80s or 90’s it had some black paint added which has since been carefully removed and the shells have been polished. The kit has all original hardware including tom mount and all tom mutes. Kick drum hoops are original but the inlays are repros, they were bought from a company that did a limited run of Red Psych finish before it was discontinued. Drums tune up really nicely and all the bearing edges look great. There have been no modifications to the drums structurally whatsoever. These kits do not show up for sale to often, especially with Keystone Badges! All new heads put on as well!
