The AC15C1 pairs two EL84 power tubes with a Celestion G12M Greenback 12" speaker in a closed-back cabinet.  You get chimey, harmonically complex clean tones and a naturally compressed breakup characteristic of British class A amplifier design. At 15 watts it reaches useful overdrive at manageable stage volume. This example is in excellent overall condition.

The AC15C1 is Vox's reissue of the original AC15 circuit that defined British guitar tone in the early 1960s. The C1 variant features a single channel with Top Boost EQ, onboard spring reverb, and tremolo — the core feature set of the original. The Celestion G12M Greenback is the correct and historically appropriate speaker for this circuit, and this one is original to the amp. 

The amp has seen some use, showing scratches on the control panel and some general and honest wear on the cab.  The cabinet covering is original black tolex in very good condition. The grille, chassis, knobs, handle, reverb tank, and potentiometers are all original. No pedal is included. No case or cover is included.

Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely. If there is damage, retain all packing materials intact, photograph them immediately, and send the photos to .

Amplifiers: We take additional precautions to prevent common shipping damage. Depending on the amp, this may include removing tubes, pulling the chassis from the cabinet if heavy transformers present a drop risk, or removing heavy speakers that could crack baffles in transit. Reassembly is required on delivery — we label everything clearly. These measures add to shipping costs but reflect hard-won experience. Vintage amplifiers (20 years or older) are sold as-is — all amps are tested in our shop upon intake and again before shipping. We cover shipping damage but cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in instruments that are 20 to 50-plus years old.
