A superb example of a first-generation Italian-built Jen Cry Baby wah, model 310.001, dating to the early 1970s, complete with its original red Cry Baby carry case.

Manufactured by Jen Elettronica following their takeover of wah production in 1969, these pedals were built in the same factory and lineage as the revered Italian Vox wahs, sharing the same construction methods, circuitry, and unmistakable tonal character.

This preserved and highly original example, retaining its tag-board circuit with no rework or modifications, along with the original 500mH - HUC/DUC inductor, a particularly desirable value within the early production range. Inductors in this range are widely regarded for delivering the classic Italian wah voice, smooth, vocal, and rich in midrange, with a warm, musical top end that avoids the harshness often found in later units.

The pedal retains its correct period components throughout, original rack and pinion sweep mechanism, potentiometer, footswitch and jack configuration. preserving the intended tonal response.

Cosmetically, the pedal presents very well with only light, honest wear consistent with age, and the circuit remains clean and untouched.

The original red Cry Baby vinyl carry case is included and is in great condition, showing minimal signs of use with intact stitching and clear branding, a rare addition that enhances both collectability and overall appeal.
