Here is something very special for sale - An incredible light weight Murphy Lab '64 ES 335 (7.6lb!!) made to measure Murphy lab order for Guitar Place, Germany with top grade wood selection. Just arrived at my door in Australia a few days ago. The guitar is in brand new condition with all the case candy and receipts. There are several markings in on the guitar which are all factory marks- small scrapes under the tale piece, small scrape just by the bridge pickup, couple of light dots of wear, and beautiful finish checking etc which have all been done in the Murphy lab ageing process. The ageing is super light and awesome. No flaky checking on the neck but rather a very smooth feel. It has the vibe of a real 60s guitar that has been well looked after. Beautiful checking. Guitar has about 1 hour playing time. This is a SUPER resonant guitar that rings like a bell, is very light for a 335 and is extremely alive and responsive! Guitar Presents as new. I have come to realize I just love really fat necks and so I will most likely end up with a 58 or something similar. However, this is certainly not a slim neck but a really nice rounded chunky medium C and very comfortable. Below is some info from Guitar place for this build, and also the specs can be found below:
