The GX is a highly popular model featuring a silver headjoint and body (including the ring and post), with keys made of nickel silver and finished with a silver plating.
By crafting the headjoint and body—which significantly influence the tone—from silver, this model achieves a sound that closely resembles the bright, rich tone of an all-silver instrument. At the same time, using nickel silver for the keys keeps costs down while ensuring ease of play.
Its offset ring key design makes it easy to hold, even for those with smaller hands.
Even if you’re unsure about ring keys, you can use them just like covered keys by using the dedicated ring key plugs.
