The Ruark Sabre-R is a two-way passive bookshelf loudspeaker built around a 26mm silk dome tweeter and a 150mm treated natural fibre cone mid/bass driver, crossed over at 2.2kHz. The bass-reflex cabinet is constructed from damped, braced MDF with a double-flared port tuned to 55Hz, delivering a frequency response of 50Hz–20kHz (±3dB). With a nominal impedance of 6 ohms and a sensitivity of 86dB/2.83V/m, the Sabre-R is suited to amplifiers in the 25–100W range and connects via two sets of 4mm gold-plated binding posts. The cabinet's slatted wood design detail echoes Ruark's broader R-series aesthetic, and the speaker is available in fused walnut and satin charcoal lacquer finishes.
