This Boss RV-4 Reverb is owned by LIARS.
There was a period during the making of Sisterworld when the goal was to submerge everything in reverb. Voices, guitars, drums, synthesizers, if it could pass through this pedal, it probably did.
This RV-4 was used heavily while writing and recording the album in a La Brea apartment rented above a weed dispensary. During one late-night session, someone broke into the building by smashing through a wall of the studio with a sledgehammer. The pedal survived the experience. A small but significant part of the atmosphere that shaped Sisterworld.
Painted over. Functions as intended.
